Terms and conditions
Take a look through the terms and conditions below for the practical details of working together, from revisions and payment to the use of finished designs.
Scope of work
The quote covers the agreed scope of work and the revisions specified. Additional work or changes outside this scope may incur extra charges, which will be agreed in advance.
Feedback and project delays
The client is responsible for providing feedback, content and approvals in a timely manner. Delays may affect scheduling. Projects on hold for more than 14 days may need to be rescheduled, subject to availability. If delays due to outstanding client input exceed 30 days, TFD Studio reserves the right to invoice for work completed to date, with any remaining work rescheduled accordingly.
Cancellation
If a project is cancelled after work has commenced, payment will be due for work completed up to the date of cancellation, together with any agreed, non-cancellable third-party costs.
Copyright and ownership
Copyright in original design work remains with TFD Studio until full payment has been received.
Upon payment, the client is granted the agreed rights to use the final approved design for the purposes and applications outlined in the project brief. Any use beyond this agreed scope requires prior written agreement.
Unused concepts, rejected designs and working files remain the property of TFD Studio unless otherwise agreed. Artwork created by TFD Studio may not be substantially altered or passed to a third party for modification without prior agreement.
Usage rights
The agreed usage rights apply only to the project outlined in the quote. The designs may not be reused, adapted or repurposed for other projects or applications without prior written agreement with TFD Studio.
Artwork approval
The client is responsible for checking and approving all final artwork before production or publication.
Portfolio use
TFD Studio reserves the right to feature completed work in portfolio projects and promotional materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment terms
Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any deposit or staged payments specified in the quote must be paid in accordance with the agreed schedule. The final invoice will be issued when the completed artwork is supplied and is payable within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Acceptance
Acceptance of the quote confirms agreement to the scope of work, fees, payment terms and these Terms and Conditions.
